3.Why is my Daintii appliance not vacuum sealing?
(1)As you do your bulk sealing be sure to leave at least 40 seconds between each seal to avoid over heating your vacuum sealerlf you've been sealing for a while without abreak-you might have overheated your vacuum sealer Pause for about 20 minutes then try sealing again.
(2)When you use this sealer with moist foods it works best if you freeze it prior to sealing. This prevents liquids from getting sucked into the vacuum pump. Alternatively you can put a folded paper towel at the open end of the bag to absorb any juices from the moist foods or meat.
(3)Bag troubleshooting questions: Did you leave about 2.5 inches(6.35cm)at the top of the bag when filling? Are you using a Daintii brand bag? Did you re-use a bag with imperfections?

·110-120V AC Appliances Only: The Daintii appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify plug in any way.
·Caution: A short power cord is provided to reduce risks from entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used when marked electrical rating is no less than electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord should not drape over counter or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled on unintentionally, especially by children.

5.What is the Moist/Dry setting for?
This changes the seal level for type of food - moist or dry. Liquids can be drawn up by the vacuum process and liquids between the layers of the bag can have a cooling effect on the heat seal. Adjustable Food Settings Seal Level can extend the seal time to compensate for liquid and create a secure, reliable and air-tight seal.

6.Hint:
When vacuum sealing very moist foods such as stew, try letting the bag hang lower than the unit, by placing it on an open top kitchen drawer(The paper towel is just to absorb moisture, if necessary. It goes between the food and the seal so that it absorbs the moisture instead of the moisture getting sucked into the machine. Just fold a paper towel into a 1 inch strip and place it inside the bag below the seal line.). Hit the seal button once you see liquids start to move up the bag. When sealing large volumes of liquid, it is normal to have some air bubbles remain in the bag.
